August Top Picks | Monthly Favourite's

So another month has passed by so quick and yes I know I'm kind of late with my August favs.. But if I didn't post this now and combined it with my September favourites; it'll end up being too long!

First up is a product I've mentioned a couple of times on the blog here and here. The Sure maximum protection deodorant. It's been a life saver for me this summer. Although it hasn't stopped me from being a sweaty Betty... It's certainly stopped me from being a smelly, sweaty Betty!

Next up is a bit of an unusual favourite, but I've been using these Nescafé sachets so much the last month, it felt right I included them! I've been buying a packs which contain about 8 sachets from the pound shop. If there are any coffee fans reading this who have never tried these, you really should! So simple and such a quick fix, for those days I'm stuck at work, or just being lazy at home and can't be bothered to make a "proper coffee". Rip open a sachet, pour into a cup, add boiled water and bobs your uncle! The good thing about these during the warmer days, is that they make a nice simple iced coffee too. Add a drop of boiling water to dissolve the powder, pop in some ice cubes and fill the rest with cold water. Fineto!

The other week I wrote a review post about HAND soaps which you can read in full here. But since we returned from holiday, I've been using them everyday. The latest one I've been trying out is the Menta Mint and not only does it smells refreshing, but it leaves a slight tingle on your skin too, which has been rather cooling on the hotter days.

In the summer, I don't like to wear an overpowering scented perfume. I find it can be too much during the warm days and so for me, I tend to go for the more subtle scents. Believe it or not, Britney Spears's Midnight Fantasy, has been a favourite of mine for years! I love it and I only found out about this little by accident and I'm so glad I did. It's sweet (but not too strong), refreshing and I always get asked what it is I have on whenever I wear it. Safe to say people are quite surprised when they hear what it is. Around Christmas time, it's always on offer in boots. So for just £11 a bottle, I make sure I stock up for the year ahead!

Next on my list are these cute mixed midi rings from Primark. Of course they had to be rose gold ;) and at £2.50 I thought they were a bargain! You get 8 rings in total and I love that every single one is different.

Finally is this face wash by Vatika*. The honey, aloe vera and almond wash smells lovely. It's not an strong scent, but its enough you can smell it when you use it. A little really does go a long way with this wash. Not a lot is needed at all and because of that, I think it's going to last me a while which is always a bonus! It lathers up nicely and just feels really silky on the skin. I probably use it around 4 times a week and my skins been great the past month.

What's one thing you were loving throughout August?..

* Item was gifted to me for PR purposes, but all thoughts, opinions and photos are my own.

Love Hannah xx

  6. These are great picks, the soap sounds amazing! I am really unadventurous when it comes to perfume, especially because most fragrances are really expensive and so I always end up using the same fragrance every day - and then repurchase the fragrance haha. The Britney Spears perfume sounds really good, I will try it out xx

  7. That face wash sounds heavenly. I think my favorite this past month was the Shea Moisture manuka honey shampoo. Such a lovely smelling, hydrating product.

  8. Your midi rings are absolutely lovely, and I love that you included Nescafe sachets in this, haha. I'm a bit of a coffee addict myself, and when I feel too lazy to proper brew one, I definitely reach out for my Nescafe sachets!
