Mini Lush Haul..

Last weekend Terry and I popped over to Romford for a spot of shopping. It's about a 30-40 min drive from us, but it's one of our nicest local shopping centres with good shops, without having to go to Lakeside (which is too big when you just want a small shop I think).

All I had in mind was a visit to Primark and since it's our closest one; Lush. As I knew where I wanted to go and what I wanted to get from Primark, it made the the trip very easy and quick. I grabbed a few tops needed from Primark, some PJ's and a couple of new bras.
But moving onto Lush... I wasn't too sure what I wanted to get from here. I knew I wanted to pick up a bath bomb to try, but thought I'd look around and see what caught my eye.

Bath Bombs

This little cutie stood out to me. Not only is it pink and made me think of Spring/Summer when I saw it, but it smells really good and it's one of their cheaper bombs. I don't mind paying £2.65 for something that's gunna disappear in minutes. It's when they cost £4+ I think it's not really worth it!
I've yet to use it, but if the smell is anything to go by, I'm sure it'll be a good one.

How could I resist a mini robot that looks this adorable? Especially when he's such a steal at just £1.95!! The thing that really caught my eye about this little chap, is that he is enriched with Lavender and Chamomile oils. Being such soothing scents, I thought it may help to relax me at the end of a hard day. I got to use this chap last week after a long day at work and he did help me to relax. It wasn't until I looked online, that I realised that it's actually intended to relax children before bedtime. Because of this, it does make sense as to why he isn't as strong as maybe I would have liked him to be. But for the low price and some mild relaxation, you can't really go wrong!

Bubble Bar
I had been wanting one of these reusable bubble bars for a while, so made sure I added one to my basket last weekend! I love the idea that you can get a few uses out of this beauty. At £5.95 it was the most expensive item purchased that day, but if I can get 3/4 uses out of her, then it'll work out to be the cheapest! I haven't yet used my flamingo, but can't wait to as she smells amazing!! Almost bubblegumey; reminds me a bit of Snow Fairy!

Shower Jelly
If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen a few weeks ago, I posted a picture of one of these? I came across it at a friends house and as soon as I smelt it there, I knew I had to get some for myself. It is truly one of the nicest, most refreshing scents I've smelt in a long time! I seriously want this smell in a candle and would just have it lit everyday!! It's just lemon, but I love it. Next time you're in lush, give it a sniff and see for yourself! So anyway...
I've used it a few times since I brought it last week and I'm not able to notice the fact any is missing! I'll be honest with you.. I had no idea how you were supposed to use this at first. My friend had chunks missing from hers where she obviously breaks bits off, but when I tried doing that myself the first time I used it, I knew there had to be another way. So after looking on their site, I realised the whole lot had to come out and be rubbed on the body! Unfortunately the smell doesn't linger as much as I would personally like it too. It smells great while using, but then after the shower the smell does fade. But it does make my skin softer to touch once I've used it.

Have you used any of the products I've mentioned in the post? Is there anything you'd recommend for my next trip to Lush?

Love Hannah xx

  1. I've only ever tried Think Pink, which I love! It looks cute, and it makes my bath so pretty! I've never tried the robot out he looks so cute haha, and the flamingo is amazing too. I've tried the Christmas star wand and that's amazing, but there so messy, especially when they crumble off the stick haha!

  2. I have only tried the Shower Jelly so far and I really loved it, it was actually the first product I ever bought at Lush. The flamingo sounds amazing, I'd love to try it. And I completely agree with you, I don't want to pay £5 for something that just disappears within a minute - that's why I stick to cheaper bath bombs or other products at Lush xx
