DECEMBER FAVOURITES

Happy New Year!!

Hope everyone had a great new year’s eve and that none of you suffered too much new year’s day?

Well I hate to say it, but the holiday season is well and truly over, (so upset)! BUT on the plus side, it’s a brand new year and hopefully it’s gunna be a good one for us all?! I for one am super excited to see how my blog grows in the next year. I don’t want to go into too much depth about that though, as I’m considering doing a post about it within the next week.

So shall we just jump straight into the purpose of this post? Even though Christmas has gone by really quickly, the actual month of December seems to have gone by slow if that makes sense? Anyone else feel that way? So anyway its been hard to pick my favourites this month as I’ve had so many. I’ve ended up selecting the few that I’ve ended up using the most, or that have made a big impact on me…

 

BATISTE DRY SHAMPOO

I’m going to kick my favs off with this little gem! I’ve been using Batiste for years, but last month in particular its become my life saver. Where it was such a busy month and last minute trips to shops were needed without much time to get ready, I ended up using mine more than ever. This one here is a mini size; perfect to pop in your handbag for anytime your hair starts to look a little dull, or in my case greasy while you’re out and about! I’ve tried all the different types of Batiste, but in my opinion, the original is by far the best.

 

YANKEE CANDLE

Now if you’ve followed me for a while, you may know that I am a sucker for a candle. In particular, Yankee Candles. I just love their choice of scents and the fact that they really do “smell” while they burn. This one here is called Tarte Tatin and smells so tasty! It has been a perfect one to burn over the holiday season.

VITAMIN E LEAVE-ON MASK

If you saw my November Favourites, you would have seen I added this product there too. I wont say too much as you can read more info here but its really helped my skin in this cold weather, I wanted to pop it in again

LUSH LIP SCRUB & EOS BALM

In the colder weather, my lips really start to suffer. They go dry, crack and just get really sore. Thanks to the Lush Lip Scrub and then followed by using my EOS Lip Balm after and throughout the day, my lips haven’t suffered as much this month.

HAND GEL & ATRIXO CREAM

Another duo I’ve been using together a lot this last month, is this Carex Hand Gel and Atrixo Hand Cream. My lips aren’t the only part of me that suffers in the winter, my hands get horribly dry. I end up looking like I have old peoples hands in the winter where they go so horrid!! I also hate the feeling of dirty hands, so with such a busy month; rushing around, shopping etc., the hand gel comes in very handy. This particular one I’ve used before as unlike some of the other brands out there, it doesn’t dry my skin. Combined with the hand cream after and my hands feel normal again for a little while longer.

CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

This is a bit of a random pick, but it certainly has been one of my favourites for last month and I’m so sad I had to take it all down today! I’m home now, but for the last 2 weeks I’ve been staying at my boyfriends and to make his room feel a little more Christmassy, I set up some decorations on top of one of his cupboards.

LED PORTABLE LAMP

Now this is by far my top fav for December! I purchased this fab little gadget off of eBay for around a fiver I think it was and its been a god send for helping me take better pictures. It folds down to around 10x6x5cm, so if you’re like me and have a monster size handbag, it fits perfectly in there! There’s no need for me to really explain any further, ill just include a without and with lamp picture below for you to see for yourself.
