Are HAND Soaps Worth A Try?..

At the end of June I received a large parcel from an Italian company called HAND (Have A Nice Day). Luigi had contacted me a few months prior, asking if I would like some products sent to me to try out. As HAND is based in Italy, Luigi wanted to find a UK distributor who would stock the products, before sending me my box of treats..

So about a week before Terry and I went on holiday, I was very excited when my package arrive! Luigi was so kind and sent me a heap load of things to trial. So much so, that I've decided to separate the review into two or three different posts.
In today's post I want to talk about the soaps I received..
All of HAND's products use organic ingredients and plant-based surfactants like palm and coconut oil, which allow for a great lather. That's one thing that is a must for me when I'm looking for a good soap or body wash; one that's not going to remain just "wet", but has the ability to give a good lather.

In all honesty, not knowing how I would find the soaps, I didn't end up taking one away with us. I wasn't to risk it potentially spoiling the holiday, just in case it lead to a rash or an outbreak. So when we returned at the beginning of last month, I made sure the first thing I done; was pop one of these in the shower to put to the test!
I've been using the soap twice a day for the past six weeks now, almost seven. After the fifth week, I finally gave in; threw out the last little bit of the first one and opened a second one to start. I love them! I'm really surprised and really happy with the products.

The soap gives me that "squeaky" clean feeling and the Shea butter leaves my skin feeling soft. You get a great fragrance from the bars too, which is a plus.
One thing that has impressed me the most about these soaps, is the fact that I have been able to use them on my face! Yup that's right, I have been using them in the shower at the end of the day to remove the days makeup. You should know by now, I'm super lazy and I don't always never take my makeup off the correct way beforehand.
Using the soap has not caused me to break out in any way and in fact, I don't know if it's thanks to the sun, the soap, or the face wash I use every-now-and-then, but my skins been pretty clear this summer.
HAND products are available to purchase from LoveLula.
The soaps mentioned in this post retail on the site for £4.50 each. I know for sure when I run out of my bars, I'll be purchasing some more!

Have you ever heard of HAND before? What type of soaps do you like to use? Or are there any in particular you know you can't use?

*These items were sent to me as a PR sample, but all thoughts/views are my own.

Love Hannah xx

  2. Amazing review, I have never heard of HAND but the company sounds great and so do their products! I haven't thought of using hand soap in the shower but the idea is really good and I'm surprised to hear that you could use the soap on your face too - as a person who is always too lazy to remove makeup properly (who has time for that?!) this would come in very HANDy. (sorry I couldn't resist). xx

  4. I actually love using soaps to wash hands - growing up we always used bars of soaps as opposed to liquid soaps. This brand sounds really interesting, though. I LOVE the packaging, too!
