Something A Bit Different | DOVE | Shower Foam

When I see an advert on TV, I'm always sceptical of how much they 'big' a product up. A few months ago DOVE was heavily advertising their new shower foam and while I was in Boots one day, I noticed it on offer. Being a foam, I had low expectations and hadn't really thought about trying it until I saw it for only £2 and decided it was worth a try, even it was just for a post review!

I picked up the pear and aloe vera scent and let me just say, the smell is indeed revitalising! I don't know about you, but I don't ever see a pear scent product? Brands out there if you're reading, please make pear more popular. It is such a refreshing smell and a great pick me up in the mornings.
I've tried one other foam product from another company in the past and to be honest I didn't like it. It wasn't particularly foamy, it didn't lather up and it went in the bin pretty quickly, which is why I had such little expectations from this one.

This, however, was not a letdown. With its pump feature, it makes it nice and easy to dispense either onto your hands or onto your body puff. I love using puffs with all types of shower washes - not only does it help the formula lather, but a little goes a long way with one of them and you'll find your favourite shower gel will last a lot longer! Using it to apply the DOVE shower foam is a dream. All it takes is two pumps and I am able to do my whole body with ease.
The amazing pear scent fills the bathroom and my skin is left feeling fresh and indeed revitalised! When I run out I'll definitely be repurchasing, whether it be still on offer for £2, or it's full price - I have no doubts about adding it to my list of favourite washes.

Have you tried Doves foaming range? Or maybe you've used another brand in the past you'd recommend? I'd love to hear!

  1. I've never tried anything from Dove. Maybe a deodorant while I was overseas but that's about it. Their products never really appealed to me, though I have to say I do love their advert campaigns!
