TOAD Diaries..

Some of you may know that a few weeks back, I attended the Bloggers Ball in London? Amongst all the stalls, TOAD Diaries is a company that I stumbled upon. I got chatting with Jacob and he was kind enough to pass over his details, to which I later emailed him and a discount code was given to receive a free personalised diary.

TOAD Diaries is a website you can use to completely personalise a Diary to your requirements. While there aren't endless amounts of designs, you are given a good selection to choose from. I decided to take some screen shots of the process I went through whilst ordering mine..

The whole ordering process didn't take much time at all and the dispatch and shipping time is something I was rather impressed with. Within 5 days of placing my order, my diary came through the door!! Can I also just add that I was really pleased to see realistic postage prices. None of this added charge, just your standard charge depending on the weight. My diary for example would have cost just 90p to post! Surely I'm not the only one who gets a bit peed off when postal charges are a bit extreme?

I opted for a 21 month calendar, meaning it'll take me all the way into 2018. The design is Molten in the colour Rose Gold, (of course) and is hardback. There are also many different layouts you can choose for you diary. Since I never ended up doing my bullet journal in the end, I decided to go for a week view on one page and grid on the other for all my doodles, important info/appointments. One thing I was happy to see, is that there was an option to have an updated diary. I like to know that if I'm away or have a relaxing week, it's not going to matter if I don't fill anything in; because I can just start again the week I'm back :) When you get to the checkout, you have the option to pay by card or PayPal, which I am very keen on for those moments I don't have my card one me!

You get to add two lines of text to the front and two to the back. I decided to add my blog address and Titter/Instagram username.
Overall, I'm really happy with the service and product I received and again a big thank you to Jacob!

Are there any negatives?..

  • In my personal opinion, I would like to see more design choices. Maybe that'll happen over time as the company grows.
  •  think the cover could be printed to a higher standard, its just ever so slightly faded. Not a clean, crisp print.
  • Lastly, I would suggest either changer the font size or colour. Luckily you can work out what mine says, however designs with a similar colour on the cover must be more difficult to read. Even just make the text bigger and bolder?
Have you ever heard of TOAD Diaries? If not would you consider them? Or do you get your diary from somewhere else, if so where?

Love Hannah xx

  1. I love the option of personalizing my own diary. It's a nice idea they have going on there.
