#BloggersBall..

Last weekend, I attended the Bloggers Ball, organised by Scarlett London Events. As soon as I heard about the event at the beginning of the year, I went ahead and booked my ticket. I've been to an event in the past, but this was my first big event, with such a big appearance.

I went alone and nerves certainly started kicking in beforehand. Luckily, I was not the only one flying solo at the event and the nerves soon disappeared. There were so many great companies there showing off their products/services, of whom I am very excited to try out their lovely goodies I was lucky enough to receive and got to meet some new people too, which is always a good thing right?

The event was held at DSTRKT; a restaurant and bar in London, Piccadilly Circus.
(Which unfortunately, only now after googling the venue have I realised it was the club that received so much bad publicity last year, due to refusing entry to certain guests based on their skin colour and body size. Hmm not a good move DSTRKT). Moving on..

The event started at 2pm and let me just say I am so happy that I didn't end taking a coat with me The queue for the cloakroom was ridiculous, definitely felt a little smug walking past everyone waiting, *oops*.

There were loads of different stalls set up around the venue and it was just a case of trying to figure out which one to visit first! I managed to get snaps of most stalls, so I'll add the photos below for you...

I'm not a chocoholic, but these chocolates were definitely very easy and I'll be buying some, next time I'm in Waitrose :)

I'm sorry, but for me this was by far the best thing at the event!! I mean, hello!! Coffee and alcohol, can it get any better?! The expresso martinis were amazing!

This is the product I think I'm most excited about trying. To finally see for myself if it really works!!

Since the ball, I've created and received my diary and excited to put it to good use!

The pastrami was lovely and I was so happy when I was given a sample pack to take home with me!

What did I wear to the ball you ask?.. I opted for floral trousers, a black peplum top, white sandals and a crochet cardigan...

My makeup?...

My lipstick is by MUA, just £3.50 and I was amazed that it last a whole 6 hours without a touch up! You can see my full review here.

All in all I had a lovely afternoon and I want to urge anyone going alone to an event, that it's not as scary as it first seems! I received so many goodies, I want to thank every brand for your generosity! I will be writing review posts on some of the bits I received throughout the next few months, so keep your eyes peeled :)

Have you ever been to a big event? If so, I'd love to hear which one and what you thought?

Love Hannah xx

    1. I know it would have been great if you could have made it! I'm surprised I made it actually if I'm honest, but seemed silly not to and to let nerves win! xx
