Affordable Bath Treats..

Back in March I placed an order with a company called Bahari Blossom. If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know by now that I don't like to write a review, until I have tried the products for a few days/weeks (depending on what the item is).

Bahari Blossom is a small business you can find on Twitter/Instagram/Etsy. It's run by the lovely Sandhya and she makes the cutest looking soaps/bath bomb/treats. All of Sandhya products are handmade, natural and suitable for vegans.
Let me just throw this out there and say that this is not a paid or sponsored post. Everything I ordered, I chose and paid for myself. Well actually I didn't choose it all, but I'll get to that part in a moment..

I stumbled across BB on Twitter and loved how cute all the bath treats looked. After looking at the Etsy page, it became apparent that they were all very affordable and so I couldn't resist putting in my order and giving them a try. Although on the Etsy page the only option is for a set of bombs, if you contact Sandhya she will happily take custom orders of what it is you are after. As I planned on writing a review I wanted to make sure I had a selection of different products to try. I sent Sandhya a message, explained what my budget was, mentioned the two soaps I knew I wanted and with the remaining budget, allowed Sandhya to select a few bombs/melts for me. After a few days my parcel arrived. Straight away once I opened the box, it became clear how much effect goes into each order. I mean look how pretty all the packaging is..

See I was good and patient and I remembered to take some snaps before I started
using these products ;)

I am still only on my first soap. I decided to open, Lemon Verbena first and I've still got loads left on the bar before I have to open up Indian Summer! Both smell amazing and I love the way the names are stamped onto the bars. Adds a nice finishing touch. The soap lathers up really nicely and while the smell isn't as strong as I personally would like it to be when I'm using it, it leaves my skin feeling great after.
Soaps are £3.50 each.

How cute is this little bunny? I love him :) although just a heads up... He might smell good enough to eat, but he definitely doesn't taste good! Yeeeah I may have got a little tempted and umm accidentally stuck my tongue on the top of his ear.. *hides face in shame*!! But other than that, he did his job well. He fizzled, smelt good and with the Shea butter in him, made my skin feel great after my bath!

The sparkly bomb above is the only one I have used yet. Waiting for a day I feel prepared to be covered in glitter hehe. Apart from that I've tried the rest. Terry took the blueberry ball home and said he really enjoyed it and it smelt great.  The only one I wasn't too keen on was the Rose melt. It was the smell that put me off a little. Found it too overpowering, but that's only because it's a scent I'm not keen on. It reminds me of those smellies you can get to go in your underwear drawer. A bit like pot puri I guess.
All bombs and melts start from £1 each!
If you enjoy a nice bath bomb every now and then, but don't want to pay some of the higher prices out there; then you may also really enjoy Bahari Blossom.
Other than high street shops, do you buy your products from somewhere else? I love trying new places.

Love Hannah xx

  1. Finally a great and affordable Lush alternative! The products sound and look amazing, I would love to try the bunny, it is adorable and shea butter is my favourite scent as well. I usually get my bath products at the local drugstore and sometimes at Lush. xx
